Michael J. Collesano, LLM
Principal Broker
Mr. Collesano is a real estate broker and admitted to practice law in New York and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He also has been admitted to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal District Courts for Western, Southern and Eastern New York. He maintains a law practice in Manhattan focused on real estate.
In 2004, Mr. Collesano was a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 27th District of New York. He established his practice in New York City and Western New York in 2001 after working in Washington, D.C. as Legislative Counsel to Congressman John J. LaFalce (29th Congressional District of New York) and the U.S. House of Representative’s Financial Services Committee. In the early 1990s, Michael also worked for the Hang Seng Stock Exchange in Hong Kong, and was one of the first people trained to trade equity options in the market.
He holds an LL.M. degree in International Banking from Boston University School of Law (1996), a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law (1995), and a B.A. in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University (1991). A native English speaker, he also is conversational Mandarin Chinese.

Boris Berenshteyn

Boris was born in Kishinev, capital of Moldova, formerly part of the USSR. After earning B.A. in Engineering Degree from the City College, he worked as a construction manager for 4 years. Under his supervision, 4 residential buildings were built, which gave living space to 296 families. Working for the Consulting Company of Construction Technology as a Senior Engineer, he advanced to Leading Engineer and to Head of Department’s Section. He supervised a group of construction engineers and designed technology of construction for new and unique buildings, and restoration of antique and damaged buildings.
Boris emigrated to the United States in 1991 with his wife and young son, and carrying all his worldly possessions. American life began from scratch.
His started work in America was as building maintenance worker and maintenance mechanic at the Doral Court on 39th Street off Park Avenue while continuing to pursue a real estate education. He was worked at an exclusive Upper West Side pre-war building for many years.
Potential buyers have the benefit of his experience. His experience and skill allow him as a Real Estate Salesperson to know how a property is built, what is behind the walls, what systems are in the building, what an apartment may need to improve, how to have renovations done affordably and well, and how a property can be evaluated with all these things in mind together.
Boris’ friendly personality and positive attitude allow him to communicate well with all different kinds of people. He also takes real estate photography, using special technique, which not requires any disturbing additional lighting.
Boris’ passion is traveling, cooking and photography. He lives in Lower East Side of Manhattan with his wife. Boris has 2 children and two grandchildren. He speaks fluent English, Russian and understands some Ukrainian language.
